41. Use the Value Trade Sheets
You can use the Value Trade Sheets to identify matches with better value prices and increase your returns.
Using our internal algorithms, we determine the correct (true) probability for a first half goal, we then check the prices available across our poo of 35+ bookmaker and then highlights which games are offering value. Now you know which games have a propensity for goals AND where the price is higher than it should be.
42. and 43. Check The Half Time Score
Perhaps you prefer to wait until the Second Half and then target goals. Our Value Trade Shortlist provides the optimal value price for Over 1.5 and Over 2.5 goals if the score is 0-0 at half time, or even if there has been one first half goal – after all, we know these games average over 3.20 goals a game, so the potential for more goals is high.
44. Consider Other Markets
By studying the historical results for the First Half Goals shortlist, you’ll discover that the game is won by the home team over 74% of the time!
Consider backing the home team to win the game
45. Home win + first half goals
As with point (44), you could do a build your own bet with a bookmaker and bet on their being a first half goal & the home team to win.
46. Home win + first half goals acca bet
Add two, three or four teams into an acca bet with on their being first half goals and the home team to win.
47. Over 1.5 goal acca
We mentioned in point (37) running mini acca’s on first half goals. Well, you could change it up and do an Over 1.5 goal acca for higher returns.
48. Back the home team to win if drawing at half time
We know the home team wins 74% of the time. Perhaps you could wait until half time and if the match is tied, then start backing the home team.
49. Split stake the home team in the second half
Same theory as point (48) but instead you could split your stake and back the home team at half time and at 60 minutes if they game remains level.
50. Back First Half Goal AND back the Home Team if the first goal goes to the away side
Again, this gives you multiple entry points and potential returns.
51. Split your stake between Over 1.5 and the Home Team
The score is 0-0 at half time. Split your stake and then bet half on the home team and the other half on Over 1.5 goals.
This is really playing the percentages and is putting a lot of value on your side.
52. Look for value in the Home Winner Market
Returning to the value trade sheets. These are also able to tell you if the team is value to win the game.
As you can see from the above example, the favourite is value at anything above 1.38. So 1.96 is presenting huge value (41%)
53. Back the home team win at Half Time
As you can see in point (52), the home team is also presenting strong value as well (16%). So backing them to be winning at half time could prove profitable.
54. Consider the Correct Score Market
The same tool provides you with the optimal score lines to back in the game and the suggested true probability (odds). If you can dutch those score lines for a better price, then you have a value trading opportunity.
