In the wake of a comfortable win over the Nazaríes, the Frogs take on the Sevillistas, looking to pick up three points in their quest for La Liga survival. The clash between relegation-threatened Levante UD and Sevilla FC kicks off at 18:00 (GMT+1) on Thursday, April 21, at Estadio Ciudad de Valencia.

Levante picked up a comfortable 4-1 win over Granada at the weekend on the road at Los Cármenes. Following Sunday’s win, Levante are looking for back-to-back victories, DLWLW, in a late push to avoid relegation. In 19th place, the victory places the Frogs five points shy of safety, while having 25 points from 5W, 10D, and 17L. The Granotas have not won in their last seven matches against Sevilla in LaLiga, losing six of them [0W, 1D, & 6L] in those seven episodes. A defeat here would equal their longest winless run against the Sevillistas in the top-flight (8). However, Levante have only lost one of their last four home games in LaLiga on a Thursday [2W, 1D, & 1L] and are looking to keep those numbers low when they take on Sevilla this Thursday. Time is running out for Alessio Lisci, but an unlikely victory for Levante would be a huge step in the right direction for their La Liga survival. The 36-year-old Italian could line up the 4—4—2 formation with José Luis Morales and Dani Gómez in attack for this clash against Sevilla, as he did against Granada.

After bagging three points against the Yellow Submarine, the Frogs are back in La Liga looking to land a huge blow on Barcelona’s late title challenge. The La Liga fixture, Levante UD vs. FC Barcelona, kicks off at 20:00 (GMT+1) on Sunday, April 10, at Estadio Ciudad de Valencia.

Levante picked up a comfortable 2-0 win over Villarreal following a brace from José Luis Morales (69’ & 90’+1) last weekend but remain knee-deep in the murky waters of relegation. Following the win over the Yellow Submarine on LaLiga Matchday 30, the first after three games without a victory, the club amassed 7 points from a possible 15, WLDLW. Levante have been without consecutive victories in La Liga since July 2020, ahead of the weekend's clash. The club moved one spot ahead on the table, and could now see the gap between themselves and RCD Mallorca [26 points] reduced to a point, in the event that an unthinkable victory over Barcelona becomes a reality. In 19th place with 22 points from 4W, 10D, and 16L, time is running out for Alessio Lisci, but a draw on Sunday could see his side take a step in the right direction. The 36-year-old Italian could line up the 4—4—2 formation with Roger Martí and last weekend’s hero, José Luis Morales, in attack. A number of players are expected to make their way back to the squad for the Granotas ahead of the weekend’s game.

The Derbi Valenciano, Levante UD vs. Villarreal CF, kicks off at 15:15 (GMT+1) on Saturday, April 2, at the Estadi Ciutat de València.

Levante continues to remain knee-deep in the murky waters of relegation following the 3-1 loss to Osasuna on LaLiga Matchday 29, leaving the club without a win in three games, DWLDL. The defeat leaves the Frogs at the very bottom of the LaLiga table in 20th place, with 19 points from 3W, 10D, and 16L. With a handful of games left to play, Alessio Lisci is looking to steer the club out of the relegation zone, and a point against the Yellow Submarine would be a step in the right direction. The 36-year-old Italian has a 25%-win rate after 16 games [4W, 4D, & 8L] and would like to see the average grow at the end of this clash against Villarreal. Levante are unbeaten in their last two LaLiga home games [1W & 1D] and are looking to go unbeaten in three consecutive games on home soil for the first time this season. An unlikely win would be a huge upset at the weekend. However, a draw would be a fine result for Lisci, whose side remains eight points short of safety. Lisci could line up the 4—4—2 formation with Roger Martí [76'], who scored the Frogs’ only goal in the game against Osasuna, in attack. Martí could be paired with José Luis Morales, with the duo responsible for finding the goals against Villarreal. A number of players are expected to make their way back to the squad for the Granotas, having been sidelined with varying forms of injuries.

The re-arranged match between Atlético de Madrid and Levante UD will take place at 19:00 (GMT+1) on Wednesday, February 16, at the Wanda Metropolitano Stadium.

Levante remains knee-deep in the murky waters of relegation following the 4-2 loss to Real Betis at the weekend. The loss leaves the Frogs with three defeats in a row, LWLLL, and at the very bottom of the LaLiga table in 20th place, with 11 points from 1W, 8D, and 14L. Alessio Lisci saw an already poor 22% win rate drop to 20% following the defeat to Betis after 10 games [2W, 2D, & 6L] at the helm. An unlikely win over Atletico Madrid on Wednesday in this re-arranged game would be a huge upset. However, a draw would be a fine result for Lisci, whose side remains 12 points short of safety. The 36-year-old could line up the 4—4—2 formation with Roger Martí expected to return to the starting line-up after serving a suspension. In attack, Marti could be paired with Dani Gómez. Shkodran Mustafi, Sergio Postigo, and José Campaña are all on the list of possible absentees for this mid-week clash, which leaves both sides traveling back in time to Matchday 21.

The LaLiga fixture, Levante UD vs. Real Betis Balompié, kicks off at 16:15 (GMT+1) on Sunday, February 13, at the Estadio Ciudad de Valencia.

Navigating through the troubled waters of relegation, Levante remains with a victory this season and will be returning with back-to-back defeats, LLWLL, following Matchday 23’s embarrassing loss to Getafe. A 3-0 defeat to the Deep Blue Ones at the Coliseum Alfonso Pérez saw Levante without a point away from home. The loss leaves Levante at the very bottom of the LaLiga table in 20th place, with 11 points from 1W, 8D, and 13L. Alessio Lisci, who has a 22% win rate after nine games [2W, 2D, & 5L] at the helm, would like to see his side pick up a rare win on Sunday when they host Betis at the Estadio Ciudad de Valencia. However, Lisci would be willing to accept a draw if defeat at the hands of Real Betis is imminent. The 36-year-old could line up the 4—4—2 formation with Morales and Soldado in attack against Real Betis on Sunday when both sides clash. Roger Martí is suspended for the weekend's clash, while Shkodran Mustafi, Sergio Postigo and José Campaña are all ruled out.

The Yellow Submarine make their way back to take on the Frogs for their first game of the new year following a comfortable win over El Glorioso on home soil in December 2021. Villarreal CF vs. UD Levante kicks off at 19:00 (GMT+1) on Monday, January 3, at Estadio de la Cerámica.

Navigating through the troubled waters of relegation, Levante remains without a win this season and will be returning with back-to-back defeats, DLDLL, following MD18’s loss to the Bats. Levante were two goals up inside the first thirty minutes after José Campaña (21’) and Roger Martí (24’) hit the back of the net, three minutes apart, midway through the first half. But the Portuguese, Gonçalo Guedes (44'), pulled one back for Valencia before Carlos Soler (50’ P.) restored parity from the penalty spot, five minutes after the interval. Both goal scorers picked up the brace for the Bats before Levante hit the back of the net for their third through Enis Bardhi (90’+1) inside stoppage time. The 4-3 loss leaves Levante at the very bottom of the LaLiga table in 20th place, with 8 points from 0W, 8D, & 10L. Caretaker manager Alessio Lisci aims for a change in fortunes in the new year, and a point in this difficult game against Villarreal would be a step in the right direction. A 4—4—2 formation with Roger Martí and Dani Gómez in attack is expected against Villarreal on Monday when both sides clash.

The Spanish LaLiga Santander fixture, Real Betis Balompié vs. Levante UD, kicks off at 14:00 (GMT+1), Sunday, November 28, at Benito Villamarín Stadium.

Navigating through troubled waters, Levante will be on the hunt for a point or more when they face Real Betis on Sunday, following the goalless draw against Athletic Club last Friday, the 19th of November, at the Estadio Ciudad de Valencia. Levante took 15 shots in that game and had 2 on target but failed to convert any of those chances. The draw leaves Levante at the very bottom of the LaLiga table, in 20th place and without a win this season. The club has picked up only two points out of a possible fifteen in the last five games: LDLLD. Javier Pereira continues in search of the club’s first win this season while hoping for a change in fortunes. Levante has 7 points after 0W, 7D, & 7L, with 12 goals so far this season, having conceded 25 times. The numbers leave the club with a massive negative goal difference of -13. A 4—3—3 formation with Jorge de Frutos on the left, possibly playing alongside Roger Martí and José Luis Morales is expected in the attacking end of Javier Pereira’s formation. With the exception of Gonzalo Melero (muscle injury), Javier Pereira will have a fully fit squad to make the selection from ahead of this Sunday’s fixture against Real Betis.

The Spanish LaLiga Santander fixture, Levante UD vs. Atlético de Madrid, kicks off at 20:30 (GMT+1) on Thursday, October 28, at Estadio Ciudad de Valencia.

Navigating through troubled waters, Levante will be on the hunt for a point or more when they face the Spanish champions on Thursday, following the 5-3 defeat to Sevilla at the weekend. A brace from Jose Luis Morales (34' & 56') and another goal from Gonzalo Melero (62') were not enough to see Levante pick up even a point. Goals from Sevilla’s Oliver Torres (8'), Rafa Mir (24'), and Diego Carlos (38'), - coupled with efforts from Munir El Haddadi (50') and Fernando (64'), eventually settled the contest after ninety minutes. The defeat saw Levante drop one spot from 18th to 19th place on the LaLiga table. With no wins in his last five games, LLLDL, and this season, Javier Pereira will hope for a reverse in fortunes when Atletico Madrid visits the Estadio Ciudad de Valencia on Thursday. Levante has 5 points after 0W, 5D, & 5L, with only nine goals so far this season, having conceded 18. A 4—1—4—1 formation with Soldado in attack is expected against ATM on Thursday when both sides clash.

The Spanish LaLiga Santander fixture, Sevilla FC vs. Levante UD, kicks off at 13:00 (GMT+1) on Sunday, October 24, at Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán.

Well-rested, having played no part at the midweek European continental football efforts, Levante makes the return to LaLiga action following the goalless draw against Getafe. Levante were unable to find a way beyond Getafe despite having the important figures slightly in their favor. The club had 53% of the ball and made 459 passes. However, they fell short when compared with Getafe’s numbers in the final third, - having only two shots on target in six attempts. The club has no victories in five games: DLLLD, and sits in the red zone alongside Alaves and Getafe with 5 points after 0W, 5D & 4L. Levante has scored six goals so far this season, but conceded 13 times, leaving the club with a goal differential of -7. A 4—1—4—1 formation is expected from Javier Pereira, with Dani Gomez in attack on Sunday when Levante makes their 10th La Liga appearance of the season. Roberto Soldado is ruled out of this fixture against Sevilla following a hamstring injury.

Spanish La Liga fixture, Levante UD vs. Real Madrid CF kicks off at 21:00 (GMT+1) on Sunday, August 22 at the Estadio Ciudad de Valencia.

Meanwhile, Levante UD picked up from where they left off last season against Cadiz, following their meeting in the final round of fixtures. The game ended in a 1-1 draw after late goals in both halves. Six minutes to the stroke of half-time, a stunning strike from Jose Luis Morales (39') put Levante in front. They looked good for maximum points until stoppage time when a remarkable glancing touch from the left boot of Luis Espino (90'+7) saw both sides leave with a point at full-time. Coach Paco López wasn't too pleased with a point, knowing it would be an uphill task against Real Madrid on Match Day 2. On Sunday, we can expect a conventional 4--4--2 formation from the 53-year-old coach with the attacking duo consisting of Soldado and Marti. A victory over red-hot-form Real Madrid, - as seen on the opening day of the season appears to be impossible but a draw would be a fine result for López. Centre-forward, Dani Gómez is sidelined with a hamstring injury and is expected to play no part in this game against Madrid.
