After a hard-fought draw against the Seagulls, the Saints make their way back for more Premier League action against Crystal Palace, seeking three points in a bid to remain above the Eagles. Southampton FC vs. Crystal Palace FC kicks off at 15:00 (GMT+1) on Saturday, April 30, at St. Mary’s Stadium.

Last time out, Crystal Palace held off Leeds United in a goalless draw at Selhurst Park. The Eagles sit right below Southampton in 14th place on the Premier League table, separated by two points, while having 38 points from 8W, 14D, and 11L. Crystal Palace are without a win in three games, DWLLD, ahead of this clash. In addition, the Eagles have never kept a clean sheet away from home against the Saints in the Premier League and have won just one of their 12 PL away games against Southampton [1W, 3D, & 8L]. - A victory that dates back to January 2018. Patrick Vieira could appear with the 4—3—3 formation, having Jean-Philippe Mateta, Wilfried Zaha, and Michael Olise in attack. The attacking trio have a combined total of 18 goals, with Zaha bagging 11 of those. Meanwhile, Christian Benteke has hit the back of the net six times in 13 Premier League episodes against Southampton and would like to do so again on Saturday when the Eagles take on the Saints.

The Premier League fixture, Crystal Palace vs. Leeds United, kicks off at 20:00 (GMT+1) on Monday, April 25, at Selhurst Park.

Crystal Palace picked up a 1-0 defeat to Newcastle United in the mid-week round of fixtures courtesy of a remarkable goal from Miguel Almiron (33') in the first forty-five. The defeat at St. James’ Park leaves the club with back-to-back losses, WDWLL, and tumbling off from 10th to 14th place in the congested mid-table section of the Premier League. The Eagles have 37 points from 8W, 13D, & 11L. A top-half finish appears to be the nearest objective for the Eagles, and a victory here could see Palace regain lost ground. "This is the Premier League," Patrick Vieira said ahead of Monday's clash against Leeds. "It's about trying to be consistent with the performances and the results. We had some ups and downs during the season, but we always managed to bounce back and to find a way to play better and to win games," he added. "Lately, yes, the results are not what we expected, but when we look at the performances, we had some really good periods in the games, but it wasn't good enough. We have to play better, we have to play more together as a team for 95 minutes to allow ourselves more chances to win games," the Palace boss concluded. Crystal Palace are unbeaten in their four Premier League games on Monday this season [1W & 3D] and are looking to keep the streak intact. A 4—3—3 formation with Jean-Philippe Mateta, Jordan Ayew, and Wilfried Zaha is expected in attack against the Peacocks.

After a Bruno Guimarães-inspired victory over the Foxes, the Magpies are back against the Eagles in this highly anticipated lower mid-table clash, looking to leapfrog Palace. The Premier League clash, Newcastle United vs. Crystal Palace FC, kicks off at 19:45 (GMT+1) on Wednesday, April 20, at St. James’ Park.

Crystal Palace crashed out of the FA Cup on Sunday following a 2-0 defeat to Chelsea. Goals from Ruben Loftus Cheek (65’) and Mason Mount (76’) sent the Eagles crashing out of the tournament as Chelsea cruised into their third-successive FA final. "We tried to play our best, but Chelsea were too good," Patrick Vieira said after Sunday’s FA Cup defeat. Back in the Premier League, the Eagles aim to return to winning ways, DWDWL, after the 2-1 defeat to Leicester City last time out. Furthermore, Palace are looking to pick up back-to-back away league game victories over Newcastle United for the first time, having won this exact fixture last season. Crystal Palace have won just six of their 38 Premier League games played on Wednesdays (16%) and would like to see those numbers improve at the end of this clash. Patrick Vieira is expected to switch to the 4—2—3—1, with Jean-Philippe Mateta at the top of the shape after the dynamic 3—5—2 failed to yield any positive result against Chelsea.

Following a goalless draw against PSV in the maiden edition of the UEFA Europa Conference League, the Foxes are back on Premier League soil in search of a win for a chance to switch places with the Eagles. Leicester City vs. Crystal Palace kicks off at 14:00 (GMT+1) on Sunday, April 10, at the King Power Stadium.

Crystal Palace have lost their last two away league games against Leicester and are looking to avoid defeat once again when they take on the Foxes on Sunday. Last time out, Palace picked Arsenal apart in the London Derby, which ended in a 3-0 win for the Eagles at Selhurst Park. The Eagles took a huge step across the standings, moving from 12th to 9th place on the Premier League table, having picked up 37 points from 8W, 13D, & 9L. Crystal Palace are looking to pick up back-to-back victories, WDWDW, at the end of the weekend in a bid to stay above Leicester City. The Eagles have won consecutive league games just once this season, having done so against Man City and Wolves between October and November. Patrick Vieira could appear with the 4—2—3—1, leaving Jean-Philippe Mateta at the top of the attacking formation. Meanwhile, Michael Olise (foot injury) remains doubtful alongside Nathan Ferguson.

The London derby between Crystal Palace FC and Arsenal FC kicks off at 20:00 (GMT+1) on Monday, April 4, at Selhurst Park.

After the 4-0 thrashing of Everton on March 20, Crystal Palace secured their place in the semi-finals of the FA Cup. The Eagles now face Chelsea on April 17 for a chance to take on either Manchester City or Liverpool in the FA-Cup final, scheduled for May 14 at Wembley Stadium. Back in the Premier League, Palace held the Sky Blues to a goalless draw in their last league appearance on home soil. The Eagles are now looking to return to winning ways, having picked up 8 points from a possible 15, LWDWD. The goalless draw saw the club remain in 12th place, with 34 points from 7W, 13D, and 9L. Crystal Palace have won just one of their last 15 Premier League games on a Monday [1W, 6D, & 8L], winning 2-1 at Brighton in February 2021. Furthermore, the club has drawn all three Premier League episodes seen on Monday this season, including the reverse fixture against the Gunners, back in October [2-2]. Patrick Vieira believes Crystal Palace are in a different place now than when they last played against the Gunners at the Emirates stadium. "We know from when we started to today, we’re in a different place, but there are still some things we need to improve," the Palace boss said ahead of Monday’s game. The 45-year-old could deploy the 4—3—3 formation once more, this time with Jean-Philippe Mateta, Odsonne-Édouard, and Jordan Ayew in attack. Meanwhile, Wilfried Zaha and Michael Olise remain doubtful for this clash against Arsenal.

Following a comfortable win over Wolves last weekend, the Eagles face the Cityzens with the aim of causing an upset and placing the Premier League title race on the line. The Premier League fixture, Crystal Palace F.C. vs. Manchester City F.C., kicks off at 21:00 (GMT+1) on Monday, March 14, at Selhurst Park.

Crystal Palace picked up a 2-0 win over Watford last weekend at the Molineux, which left the Eagles unbeaten in three games, DLWDW. A cool finish from Mateta (19’), having squeezed the ball through player and goalkeeper from a tight angle, left Palace in the lead. Moments later, the Eagles doubled their lead from the penalty spot after Wilfried Zaha (34’ P.) converted. The 2-0-win leaves Crystal Palace in 11th place, having picked up 33 points from 7W, 12D, and 9L. Following the win in October, the Eagles are looking to complete a league double over Manchester City for the first time since the 1987-88 season in the second tier. An unlikely victory for Crystal Palace over the Cityzens would blow the Premier League title race wide open. Patrick Vieira’s 4—3—3 formation could see Mateta, Michael Olise, and Wilfried Zaha in attack. Nathan Ferguson and James McArthur are both ruled out of this clash.

Following last weekend’s narrow defeat to the Hammers, Wolves are back against the Eagles, looking to pick up three points in a bid to consolidate their efforts for a top-five finish. Wolverhampton Wanderers vs. Crystal Palace kicks off at 16:00 (GMT+1) on Saturday, March 5, at the Molineux Stadium. With the help of the VAR, Graham Scott, referee Andy Madley will take on the responsibilities of the first official.

Crystal Palace are coming off Tuesday’s 2-1 FA Cup win over Stoke City at Selhurst Park in the 5th round of the tournament. Back on Premier League soil, the Eagles picked up a 1-1 draw against Burnley at home last weekend. A goal from Jeffrey Schlupp (9') had put Palace in the lead before an own goal from Luka Milivojević (46 O.G.) saw both sides level. The 1-1 draw leaves Palace in 11th place with 30 points from 6W, 12D, & 9L, as they look to get back to winning ways following their third draw in five games: DDLWD. Despite winning only one of their last eight Premier League fixtures [1W, 4D, & 3L], the Eagles are looking to complete the league double over West Ham at the weekend. Should they pick up a win here, it would be the third time on the double, having previously done so in the second tier in 1995/96 and 2012/13. Patrick Vieira’s 4—3—3 formation could see Schlupp, Michael Olise, and Wilfried Zaha in attack. Palace have no major injury worries ahead of the weekend.

After sweeping the Hornets aside with relative ease in the re-arranged mid-week round of Premier League fixtures, the Eagles take on the Clarets this weekend in their quest to break into the top-ten. The Premier League fixture, Crystal Palace F.C. vs. Burnley F.C., kicks off at 16:00 (GMT+1) on Saturday, February 26, at Selhurst Park.

A brace from Wilfried Zaha (85’ & 90'), coupled with goals from Jean-Philippe Mateta (15’) and Conor Gallagher (42’), who returned after being found ineligible to face his parent club, Chelsea, saw Crystal Palace pick up a 4-1 win over Watford on Wednesday. The Hornets had found their way back into the game through Moussa Sissoko (18'), who scored three minutes after Mateta struck. "I was really pleased with the team performance," said Patrick Vieira in his post-match interview. "We played well from the first minute and we managed to control the game in the second half. I'm really pleased for the players because I think lately we've been creating chances but not scoring so many goals." Vieira added. "We've been losing points where we should take points. I'm really pleased because they deserve those three points," the Palace boss included. Having returned to winning ways following four games without a victory, LDDLW, Palace are looking to pick up back-to-back victories at the end of Saturday’s clash against the Clarets. The club sits in 11th place, three points outside the top-ten, while having 29 points from 6W, 11D, & 9L. In the 4-1 win over Watford, Patrick Vieira went along with the 4—3—3 formation, with the attacking trio consisting of Wilfried Zaha, Jean-Philippe Mateta, and Michael Olise. With the gains, he is expected to stick to the same shape for Saturday’s clash against Burnley. If he features, Odsonne Edouard could become the first Crystal Palace player to score in four consecutive Premier League home appearances.

After the narrow victory over the Lions at the weekend, the Hornets travel back in time to Matchday 18 for this fixture against the Eagles, looking to pick up back-to-back victories in their quest to keep their Premier League survival bid alive. Watford F.C. vs. Crystal Palace kicks off at 20:30 (GMT+1) on Wednesday, February 23, at Vicarage Road.

The Eagles are without a win in five games, DLDDL, following Saturday’s 1-0 defeat to Chelsea at home. A brilliant finish in the shape of a cushioned half-volley through the legs of the goalkeeper from Hakim Ziyech (89’) left hearts broken at Selhurst Park. "It was frustrating to concede the goal like that at the end," Patrick Vieira said after the disappointing defeat. In thirteenth place on the table after picking up only three points from a possible fifteen in the last five games, Palace has 26 points from 5W, 11D, & 9L. A victory over Watford could see Palace regain lost ground in their quest to break into the top-ten. Patrick Vieira went along with the 4—2—3—1 formation for the game against Chelsea but is expected to revert to the familiar 4—3—3, with the attacking trio consisting of Odsonne Édouard, Wilfried Zaha, and Michael Olise. Meanwhile, Conor Gallagher will be available again after sitting out the game against his parent club, Chelsea.

After a barren draw against the Bees, the Eagles take on the Blues in another episode of the London Derby on Premier League Match week 26, hoping to pick up a win and get their top-ten ambitions back on track. Crystal Palace F.C. vs. Chelsea F.C. kicks off at 16:00 (GMT+1) on Saturday, February 19, at Selhurst Park. With the help of the VAR, Michael Oliver, referee David Coote will take on the responsibilities of the first official.

A goalless draw against Brentford last weekend at the Brentford Community Stadium left Crystal Palace without a victory in five Premier League games: LDLDD. Palace dropped to thirteenth place on the table after picking up only three points from a possible fifteen in the last five games, and now have 26 points from five wins, eleven draws, and eight losses [5W, 11D, & 8L]. The invisible wall which has kept Palace out of the top-ten all season remains firmly placed between the Eagles and the upper half of the Premier League table. The Eagles trail the top-ten section by three points, and an unlikely win over Chelsea, coupled with favorable outcomes in other intertwined fixtures, could see Palace reclaim lost ground. However, a poor record in the London Derby could leave Patrick Vieira worried ahead of Saturday’s clash against the Blues. The Eagles have won just one of their last 16 Premier League London derby fixtures [1W, 8D, & 7L], with the win being the 3-0 victory over Spurs on home soil earlier in the season. A 4—3—3 formation with an attacking trio consisting of Odsonne Édouard, Wilfried Zaha, and Ayew is expected from Patrick Vieira for this fixture against Chelsea. Ineligible to face his parent club, Conor Gallagher will sit this one out at the weekend.
