After suffering another huge blow to their Premier League survival bid, the Toffees are back against the Blues, looking to pick up an unlikely win for a chance to move out of the bottom-three. The Premier League fixture between relegation-threatened Everton and Chelsea will take place at 14:00 (GMT+1) on Sunday, May 1, at Goodison Park.

The Blues picked up a 1-1 draw against Manchester United on Thursday at Old Trafford to remain in the race for a top-three finish. A fine effort from Marcos Alonso (60’) had put the Blues in front before a fabulous goal from Cristiano Ronaldo (62’) left both sides level until full-time. "It should have been more," Thomas Tuchel told Sky Sports after the draw. "There's only one team who deserves to win, and that's us. But we didn't take it. It's our responsibility to win a game like this. We were not clinical enough," the Chelsea boss added. Currently third, Chelsea has 66 points from 19W, 9D, & 5L, and are looking to return to winning ways, LWLWD. The Blues have the best win rate in games played on the first day of a month in Premier League history, picking up 30 victories in 50 such games (60%). In addition, Chelsea has won all four PL games played on May 1st. Thomas Tuchel’s 3—4—1—2 formation could see Timo Werner and Kai Havertz return in attack on Sunday against Everton.

After suffering another huge blow over the weekend in their race for a fourth-place finish, the Red Devils are back in this highly anticipated mid-week clash against the Blues. The Premier League match between Manchester United and Chelsea FC kicks off at 19:45 (GMT+1) on Thursday, April 28, at Old Trafford.

Third-placed Chelsea picked up a hard-fought 1-0 win over West Ham United at the weekend, courtesy of a last-gasp effort from Pulisic (90'). Chelsea, with 65 points from 19W, 8D, and 5L, are looking to pick up back-to-back victories WLWLW, when they take on Manchester United, who so far have an unimpressive record against teams from the top-four this season. However, Chelsea are winless in eight Premier League matches against Manchester United [0W, 5D, & 3L]. Thomas Tuchel will try to end the winless streak against the Red Devils when he lays out the 3—4—1—2 with Timo Werner and Kai Havertz in attack. Meanwhile, Madrid-bound Antonio Rüdiger remains doubtful alongside Reece James for Thursday’s clash.

After Wednesday’s loss to the Gunners, the Blues take on the Hammers, looking to beat the Irons into shape in the race for a third-place finish. The London derby, Chelsea FC vs. West Ham United, kicks off at 14:00 (GMT+1) on Sunday, April 24, at Stamford Bridge.

The Blues came back twice before eventually succumbing to a 4-2 defeat against Arsenal in the mid-week round of fixtures, marking their second defeat in five PL games, WWLWL. Third-placed Chelsea have 62 points from 18W, 8D, and 5L, and are now looking over their shoulder at Spurs and Arsenal, who both have 57 points each, hoping to close the gap. Chelsea have lost just one of their last 15 Premier League home games against West Ham [10W & 4D] and are looking to keep those numbers low. In addition, the Blues have lost just one of their last 25 Premier League London derbies played on a Sunday [W18 & 6D]. - The defeat dates back to April 2018, against Spurs. Lukaku failed to find the back of the net once again, despite getting the nod for a start against Arsenal. Thomas Tuchel could make changes to the attacking duo should he stick to the 3—4—1—2 formation, with Timo Werner well poised to take Lukaku’s place in attack. In other related news, seven-time F1 champion Sir Lewis Hamilton joined a consortium in the bid to purchase Chelsea. "Ultimately, I'm a sporting fan," the 37-year-old told reporters at Imola, ahead of Sunday’s Emilia Romagna Grand Prix. "When I heard about this opportunity, I was like, 'Wow'. This is one of the greatest opportunities to be a part of something," he added. Meanwhile, Antonio Rüdiger (groin injury) is ruled out of the weekend’s clash against the Hammers.

After a comfortable win over the Eagles in the FA Cup for a place in the tournament's final, the Blues are back in the Premier League, looking to dent Arsenal’s top-four hopes. Chelsea FC vs. Arsenal FC kicks off at 19:45 (GMT+1) on Wednesday, April 20.

The Blues made up for the recent disappointment of crashing out of the UEFA Champions League with a 2-0 win over Crystal Palace in the FA Cup semi-final. "It will be another hard fight, given the quality and run of form of Liverpool," Thomas Tuchel said after the win on Easter Sunday. "It will be unbelievably difficult to beat them, but this is what a cup final is all about," the Chelsea boss added. Goals from Ruben Loftus Cheek (65’) and Mason Mount (76’) sent the Blues into their third consecutive FA Cup final as they look to pick up their 9th Cup title when they take on Liverpool on May 14 at the Wembley Stadium. Back in the Premier League, Chelsea returned to winning ways (WWWLW) in style after a 6-0 win over Southampton, which remains the biggest away win in the Premier League this season. Chelsea is in third place with 62 points from 18W, 8D, and 4L, 11 points behind second-placed Liverpool [73 points]. The Blues are looking to complete their first league double over Arsenal since the 2015/16 edition of the Premier League, following a 2-0 win in the reverse fixture. After the 4-1 defeat against Brentford in the PL at home, Chelsea are looking to avoid back-to-back home defeats in the London derby, having last seen one between March and October 1999. Lukaku continues to endure a difficult second spell at Chelsea and is yet to score a Premier League goal this year. The Belgian is expected to be left on the bench once again when Tuchel lines up the 3—4—1—2 formation, with Kai Havertz and Timo Werner in attack.

After the weekend's win over Getafe, the Whites are back in the star-studded arena of Champions for the second leg of the UEFA Champions League quarter-finals, looking to avenge last season's European elimination at the hands of the Blues. Real Madrid vs. Chelsea F.C. kicks off at 20:00 (GMT+1) on Tuesday, April 12, at the Santiago Bernabéu.

Chelsea pulverized Southampton over the weekend in a 6-0 Premier League away win at St. Mary's Stadium on Saturday. The victory saw the Blues return to winning ways after back-to-back defeats in five games across all competitions, WWLLW. The six-haul win appears to be an attempt to steel themselves for Tuesday’s clash against Madrid as they look to overturn a two-goal deficit from the reverse fixture. Before the first-leg defeat to the Whites, Thomas Tuchel was unbeaten as a head coach against Spanish opposition [4W & 5D]. Meanwhile, Chelsea's overall record against Spanish opposition is 19W, 18D, and 11L, with an away record of 6W, 9D, and 6L. Thomas Tuchel lined up a 3—4—1—2 formation with Kai Havertz and Timo Werner in attack against the Saints at the weekend and is expected to leave the formation in place for Tuesday’s clash against the Whites. Romelu Lukaku failed to feature in the game against Southampton and remains in doubt for the visit to the Santiago Bernabéu, along with Azpilicueta, who tested positive for COVID-19.

After earning a point against the Peacocks, the Saints take on the Blues in another Premier League match, looking to return to winning ways, after going four games without victory. The Premier League clash, Southampton FC vs. Chelsea FC. kicks off at 15:00 (GMT+1) on Saturday, April 9, at St. Mary's Stadium.

Chelsea were well beaten in a 3-1 loss to Real Madrid on Wednesday night in the first leg of the UEFA Champions League quarter-finals. A brace in the shape of two remarkable headers from none other than Karim Benzema (21’ & 24’) left Chelsea with a two-goal deficit inside half an hour. Kai Havertz (40’) reduced Chelsea’s two-goal deficit to one before a howler from Edouard Mendy opened the door for Benzema to complete the hat-trick in the 46th-minute. "We have to find our level back. I don't know where it is since the international break. The first half was a repetition of the second half against Brentford," Thomas Tuchel said in the post-match interview after the defeat. "We have to get things ready for Saturday. Not think about the Bernabeu today. Saturday, we face Southampton, and if we continue to play like this, we will not get a point," the Chelsea boss added. Before Wednesday’s defeat, Chelsea were beaten by Brentford, 4-1, leaving the Blues in 3rd place on the Premier League table with 59 points from 17W, 8D, and 4L. Chelsea have never suffered consecutive league defeats under Thomas Tuchel, last doing so in December 2020 under Frank Lampard. Looking to return to winning ways, WWWWL, Thomas Tuchel could appear with the 3—4—2—1 formation, having Kai Havertz at the top of the shape against Southampton.

After a shocking defeat to the Bees in the London derby, the Blues are back on European soil to take on the Whites for the second season running in the UEFA Champions League knockout rounds. The UCL quarter-finals clash between Chelsea F.C. and Real Madrid kicks off at 20:00 (GMT+1) on Wednesday, April 6, at Stamford Bridge.

An unbelievable 4-1 defeat at the hands of Brentford, despite having a one-goal lead minutes into the second half, leaves Chelsea with their first loss in five games across all competitions, WWWWL. "We lost control in 10 minutes. 3-1 within 10 minutes was decisive. We lacked energy today and we looked mentally and physically tired after being around the world," Thomas Tuchel said in his post-match interview after the defeat. Third in the Premier League, the Blues have picked up eight victories in their last 14 European matches at Stamford Bridge [8W, 4D, & 2L], including the last six episodes, all with clean sheets. Furthermore, Chelsea’s overall record against Spanish opposition is 9W, 18D, & 10L. On home soil, the Blues have picked up 11W, 7D, & 3L. The title holders are looking to pick up a victory over the two legs of this quarter-final clash against Real Madrid for a chance to take on Manchester City or Atlético de Madrid in the semi-finals. A 4—3—3 formation with Kai Havertz, Hakim Ziyech, and Timo Werner was seen against Brentford, but a switch to a 3—4—2—1 with Havertz keeping his place at the top is expected for this UEFA Champions League clash against Real Madrid. Ben Chilwell and Callum Hudson-Odoi have both been ruled out of Wednesday's match.

The Blues make their way back for this clash against the Bees, looking to re-establish their title challenge despite the uncertainty surrounding the club. The Premier League fixture, Chelsea FC vs. Brentford FC, kicks off at 15:00 (GMT+1) on Saturday, April 2, at Stamford Bridge.

Despite recent troubles off the pitch, Chelsea progressed into the FA Cup semi-finals, having defeated Middlesbrough 2-0 in their last appearance, just before the international break. Back in the Premier League, the Blues are looking to sweep Brentford aside in a bid to steel themselves for their UEFA Champions League quarter-final clash against Real Madrid on Wednesday. The Blues are coming off five straight league victories, WWWWW, and remain in third place with 59 points from 17W, 8D, & 3L. New reports have emerged over the planned sale of the club, with John Terry's True Blues Consortium holding positive talks with three leading bidders over a stake in Chelsea. The club is expected to be sold in April for a figure of around £2.5 billion. Chelsea have continued to operate with a special license despite a wave of sanctions imposed on the club, which has seen shirt sponsors "Three" and Hyundai, who are Chelsea's shirt-sleeve sponsors, suspend their deals. However, the Blues will continue to wear the branded shirts with both logos due to a lack of stock and their inability to make replacements. On Saturday, Thomas Tuchel will put the club’s troubles aside while looking for three points against the Bees when he lays out the 4—3—3 formation with Kai Havertz at the center of the attacking trio. Chelsea have won their last five Premier League games, last winning six in a row between September and November 2019. Lukaku was on target in the FA Cup clash against Middlesbrough but is expected to make an off-the-bench appearance at the weekend against Brentford. In other related news, Antonio Rudiger’s agent met with Barcelona over a potential summer move.

Following a goalless draw against Sainté, Les Dogues make their return to European soil against the Blues, looking to overturn a two-goal deficit from the first leg for a spot in the UEFA Champions League quarter-finals. LOSC Lille vs. Chelsea F.C. kicks off at 21:00 (GMT+1) on Wednesday, March 16, at the Stade Pierre-Mauroy.

A narrow 1-0 victory over Newcastle United leaves Chelsea with four victories in a row across all competitions, DWWWW. The Blues left it late on home soil with an 89th-minute strike from Kai Havertz after a dramatic week off the pitch. Looking to berth safely in the last eight after picking up a two-goal advantage in the first leg against the French champions, the title holders would like to put last week’s episode off the turf behind them. Several restrictive sanctions were placed on the club, including a £24,000 maximum-spend limit on travel expenses for away games, and its owner, Roman Abramovich, who has now been disqualified as a director of the club by the UK government. However, the lid could be lifted if the Blues qualify for the next phase of the UEFA Champions League. Chelsea have 12 victories from 16 previous episodes on European soil after picking up a first-leg home victory and are looking to claim one more on Wednesday. A 4—3—3 formation with Kai Havertz, Hakim Ziyech, and Christian Pulišić in attack is expected for this UCL clash against Lille.

Undeterred following a wave of sanctions at the club due to its ownership, the Blues return for more Premier League action against the Magpies, having brushed the Canaries aside in a 3-1 win on Thursday. Chelsea F.C. vs. Newcastle United kicks off at 15:00 (GMT+1) on Sunday, March 13, at Stamford Bridge.

On Thursday, the UK government added Chelsea’s owner, Roman Abramovich, to the list of sanctioned Russians and Putin-affiliated figures, leaving the club with a major hit as regards operating as a functional football club. Following the news, the Blues released a statement of intent to engage the UK government over a modified license to enable them to continue to function normally as an entity. "By virtue of his 100 percent ownership of Chelsea FC plc and affiliated entities, Chelsea FC would normally be subject to the same sanctions regime as Mr. Abramovich." A club statement read. "We intend to engage in discussions with the UK Government regarding the scope of the licence. This will include seeking permission for the licence to be amended in order to allow the club to operate as normal as possible," an extract from the statement read. With so much uncertainty surrounding the club, the Blues are looking to keep the noise out and pick up another victory to take their tally to five Premier League wins having secured four in a row: DWWWW. In 3rd place, Chelsea has 56 points from 16W, 8D, and 3L. Ahead of the weekend’s game against the Magpies, Thomas Tuchel spoke about the effects of the tsunami of sanctions, having seen three sponsors pull the plug. "We can always wear a message for peace. Maybe the worry is to find enough shirts to play in with the sanctions, but as long as we have enough shirts as the bus is full of fuel, we will arrive and be competitive," the Chelsea boss said. Kai Havertz is expected to be at the top of Chelsea’s 3—4—2—1 formation for this game against Newcastle United.
